Brooke Stewart, DPT

Brooke is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky, completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy program in August 2020. Her passion for neuro rehabilitation started during her collegiate years after volunteering for Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!) exercise classes. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree, she became a personal trainer and led individual and group PWR! Moves and Rocksteady boxing classes. She became fascinated by the sudden improvements that would occur when someone was given the proper guidance and education to combat personal deficits. Brooke felt purpose in continuing her work in the neuro community and fully devoted her research, academics, and compassion to pursuing a career as a physical therapist to help many others return to their full functional capabilities.

As an individual with Type 1 diabetes, the daily challenges have given her a unique understanding and empathy towards those diagnosed with chronic conditions. She’s determined to break down barriers and be there every step of the way throughout the rehabilitation journey and maintain specific life goals. Her mission is to provide patients with the resources and empowerment they need to overcome obstacles, restore function and mobility, and maximize overall quality of life. In her free time, Brooke is an active advocate for her diabetes community and enjoys camping, traveling, hiking, running, and soaking up the beautiful Colorado sunshine with friends and family.
